          THIS UMBRELLA INCLUDES THE ULTRA BASE WHICH IS COMPLIANT WITH THE ASTM F3681-24 BEACH UMBRELLA SAFETY STANDARD: Engineers from the Consumer Product Safety Commission have determined that for a 7' umbrella to be safe it must incorporate 75 lbs of resistance at the bottom pole. This was found to be effective in securing an umbrella in winds up to 30 mph.
          THE ULTRA BASE EXCEEDS THE SAFETY SPECIFICATION BY 160% WHEN PROPERLY FILLED: As municipalities begin to implement this standard on their public beaches beachgoers will need to use an ASTM F3681.24 compliant anchor or run the risk of not being permitted to use their umbrella on the beach.

          In 2009 our founder noticed a major problem as he was trying to enjoy a day at the beach. It was a sunny windy day when a sudden gust of wind launched a beach umbrella with a metal screw device down the beach. Sadly the umbrella struck & injured a young girl.


          Our All-In-One Beach Umbrella System features a sand filled bag base that folds up to the size of a paperback book. When the base is unfilled it weighs less than a pound and takes up little space. This same base can be easily filled by almost anyone in under 2 minutes and when properly filled it will exceed the ASTM Safety Standard recommendation by 160%.
