          This 10 frame beehive includes 1 metal top lid 1 inner cover 2 medium bee boxes (including 20pcs medium beehive frames) 1 queen excluder 2 deep brood boxes ( 20pcs deep beehive frames) 1 solid bottom board 1 entrance reducer and screws & nails.

        • Is this beehive assembled? Was it difficult to assemble?

          No this beehive is unassembled. But assembling the beehive is very easy. The hive has pre-cut dovetails and pre-drilled holes which are also equipped with screws. It will not take a long time to assemble a beehive.

        • Do I need to be painted even though this beehives were beeswax coated?

          The beeswax coating on new hives will last for a long time so there is no need to reapply beeswax. However the beeswax will wear off over time and then you can recoat the hive with beeswax to make it last longer.

        • Can I add other bee boxes to this hive?

          Of course you can add the suitable size Langstorth deep or super bee boxes to this hive. The size of this 10 frame beehive is 21.6 x 16.1 inches (L x W). Our hives are coated with beeswax and are very easy to assemble.
