          FAQ / Troubleshooting:

          Is WiFI required for printing? - No. WiFi is only needed if you will be printing from the mobile app. The printer can also be connected via USB directly to your computer or laptop. You can also copy 3d print files to the MicroSD card and then insert the card into the printer for direct printing.

          Why is the printer creating a spaghetti-like mess at the BEGINNING of the print? - This is a telltale sign that the z-offset setting needs to be calibrated so that the gap between the nozzle and print bed is at the optimal distance for the first layer to adhere to the bed. Although this is adjusted at the factory this setting may need to be adjusted occasionally due to shipping forces or temperature changes that causes parts to expand/contract. Here's how:

          1. Go to >Menu > Control > Probe Z Offset and wait for the short calibration procedure to finish and for the nozzle to come down right above the bed.
          2. Use a piece of copy paper folded in half (to produce 2 layers of paper) to put in between the nozzle and bed to gauge the gap (~0.2mm is the optimal gap).
          3. Use the control knob to adjust the gap so that the paper has some resistance but you can still slide the paper around.
          4. Then press the control knob to set the Z-offset. Now you're ready to print

          The combination of the backlit 2.4" LCD screen and the shuttle knob control allows quick selection of menu items and actions. The home screen displays a wide array of information such as nozzle temperature current x/y/z position estimated time left for completion progress of the printout as well as the network IP address and strength of WIFI signal. With a couple actions of the knob you can also quickly pause and resume printing.
